It's good to know when you work hard at something and people like & enjoy it. A big majority love the new coven war system and I'm so glad you guys like it.
We've read the feedback, Spot & I have spent hours discussing formula tweaks & extra features. We'll be adding them into a v1.1 we'll beta release this week.
Sorry to say a glitch appeared... Which has now been fixed, but its forced me to reset all current active wars. All coven wars will end 24 hours from NOW! All blood has been set to 0. We need to get and analyse the results ASAP so we can make any extra changes. No more wars can be declared until the 1.1 beta. The winners of the current active wars will get the same exp they would fighting the full 72 hour war.
It's BETA! Anything can happen...

Personally I like the new coven wars :D It gives all my members a chance to help make their coven better. However, there are some lazy members, and those are the ones I think that don't like it :/

I hate it too. Knowingly participating in a beta scheme, you've got to be aware of problems coming up. You think I wouldn't prefer it working perfectly and their being no problems?

OK... we pay for VIP days... VIP + days and sometimes plasma... we should get a WORKING system back.... Ive been BETA testing since 1996, when beta testing you get paid in some way for your work.. and you get the full product for free after done testing.. this is not the case now... I want my turns back!!!
Compensation? For the fixing of issues in what everybody knew was an initial beta test with much tweaking and changing to come? Grow up :P

BETA means that you participate in an unfinished product in order to help improve it to the final product. Participating in no way entitles anyone to anything, except the experience in having participated. Blood for the coven was reset to zero. He's not taking back all the blood you earned for yourself. Those turns were used just as if you attacked any other player in the game. Absolutely nothing was wasted. You should all be glad that this system was put in place and is being improved. It's a wonderful feature for the game.
this new coven war system just means that if the higher-ranked vampires want to help out their coven, they would have to waste their turns killing lower-ranked vampires of one certain coven
I wish people would stop complaining about this. It's a good plan, means covens can level and stuff. Of course there was going to be glitches, Wtf did you expect...it to be perfect straight away?
THIS ABSOLUTELY SUCKS WEVE SPENT HUNDREDS OF TURNS REVIVING OUR ENEMIES WEVE STAYED AWAKE THROUGH THE NIGHT AND HAD NIGHT WATCHERS AND NOW YOUR TELLING US THAT ITS ALL BEEN WORTHLESS, THIS IS SO MESSED UP ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY.
Personally, I LOVE it!! It's a good idea for all covens to level..
Personally I believe things happen, nobody forced you to stay up all hours of the night and use your turns. So with that being said the only person you have to blame is yourself, and nobody else.
On a different note, Nice idea Ash and way to go on keeping us on our toes.

This system.... it puts us to the test, making us train to beat higher ups of different covens and it also keeps the bigger covens on massive alreat. Stormhaven and Buds especially. I wanna see what happens when one big coven goes against another big coven! ^.^

Of course ARMY OF THE NYSARIAH (20 members) is ahead of Buds (1617 members)... its an unfair coven war...think about it...Every hour Buds gets 20 chances to get blood (with a max of 80 IF your entire clan heals EVERY TIME they get killed) minus suicides, non war killings and in clan killing. A of the N gets a minimum 1617 chances at blood every hour (6468/hr with max heal) minus suicides and in house killing. Zeph alone could spend 600 turns a day and pull more blood than Buds can simple due to availability. Personally I like the CWs, but there should be something to balance out the war. If not then someone could just start a one man covent and and slaughter everyone else in covent wars. Just my 2 cents...Armand

I think this has made a great change to the game and made it a lot more interesting for active players. Thankyou so much DarkAsh and Spot! I think your hard work has definitly paid off.
I just want to say to anyone thats complaining about compensation that everyone knew that it wouldnt work out straight away and like others have also said you still gainned blood for yourself so therefore your still ranking up and would be the same as if you battled in the arena.
I don't mind this new warring system at all, getting involved in Coven Battles is more fun than clicking a link once a day or whatever. As for the person above in the capital letters, honey, if you stayed up all night warring, you really should get outside and get some fresh air.
Nuff said, now back to kicking ass.
armand is making the most sense..is this the only way to "challenge" the bigger covens? everytime we click on ARMY OF THE NYSARIAH there's only like 2 or 3 ppl alive...how much blood can we get out of that? we're not complaining for the sake of doing it, we actually have reasons behind saying all of this..kudos ash for wanting us to work for the exp..but the new system is in need of a big tweak
