Today i was playing around with some colours on the banner ads:
Pretty cool I think. What if you could change the colour (new layout only) of the layout in RoB to fit different colours which fit your taste? Of course red would be the default because we're vampires and love red after all. But do you think it would be worth me re-colouring the images to give you the option to change the colour of the layout?
I mean its nothing major, it could look tacky, but the option is there, and people love to customise.
Tell me your thoughts.

I like the red too but I think it'd be awesome if we got the option to customize. Different colors are more fun and give a chance to switch things up a bit -thumbs up-

I think it is kind of cool, but on the other hand, why spend time makeing a different color schemes when you could be working on a larger project that actually helps the site, rather then just makeing it look pretty?
Just my opinion.
There's many customizable things now, I think a colour theme would be good for it too :) especially purple or green :D
It would just be an option in the account page where you choose the colour.
It'd be good if you want to be more cohesive with your profile colors. Right now I'm pretty monochromatic because it's best with the colors already there, but it could be cool to mix it up every now and then :)

OMG! That would be awsome, in my opinion. I really love blue and orange, and zebra! Maybe you could also add different patterns, like animal print, so on. Just thinking!
perhaps you could change the colour with the month...like red for valentine's day...yellow in the summer...etc...then we would all be surprised and it wouldn't get boring...just a thought

as long as each person can choose there own layout i think that would be cool but if its a perm change to a diff clor i think its a bad idea

This seems very interesting Darkash. You should Beta it for like a few weeks and have a poll on it at the end of the set time. It would come back with the results that would be suggested and if it doesn't work out then you can just remove them.
Personally. I think it would add more Depth to it. You could customize it to the colour you like. It is a really good idea. But that is my opinion.

I don't really use the new layout, but I just liked the blue banner so much just now that I would probably start using it! Red is nice.. but blue is GREAT! Good idea, Ash! <33

I am in agreement Ash! Not only does it give us an option, however we can change colours to match any colour theme we have on our profiles! Awesome, rocks and absolutely do it! ;)

it's be nice if you could do a color changing effect where oene part is blue the other is purple and it fades to red.

I love the idea. My moods always change so it would be great to be able to change the colors to suit the many moods I sometimes have.

yeah definatley do it cause i was trying to change the color scheme the other day till i realized we couldnt do that.

Yes, new colours would do the site some good, the blue theme sounds good to me but a way for people to individualise it like their profiles would be better, that way everyone is satisfied.
I already gave my two cents on twitter when I practically screamed 'WOWZERS...BLUUUEEEEEE!' so, that's what I think :)

Sounds like a great idea. I love the idea of something occasionally more soothing than all the red. A medium contrast gray seems relaxing.

It would be cool but you should leave the word blood in red.
It's good to have some variety and although I love the colour red, it gets a bit dreary after a while.

Ok... let's say someone from my school plays RoB and I don't even know them... I have no idea they are playing much less know that they are using the same ip as me... so when you ace act ppl see us on the same ip do we get jailed? I've seen you say that ignorance of the rule is no excuse... but what about ignorance of the existence of the other person or the other person who happened to log in form the same coffee shop or airport or library or any other of the multitudes of public internet access points?

For the anonymous playing at school. 1) wrong place for this but since it's here... 2) Send a Help Ticket to Higher staff explaining that you are on a school web. This way whether there is someone playing from your school or not, they know you are on a public connection.
