Achievements

So i added two more achievements onto list 2, i've been keeping an eye on what people are up to and they're not that hard... just about wasting turns really. To answer any questions, yes, there will be a list 3. But not yet though, but that will be a very hard list. The problem being is that i started the achievements idea 2 years into the game, so whatever i set them as there will be some people who have already hit those points so its no work for them. So list 3 will be designed for the future, but of the course the prize will be phenomenal of course.

The idea of the "secret" achievements has done what i wanted them to do, and that was to get everyone buzzing around trying to find out what it is. #16 seems to be a tough one, but i know of a couple people who have it so it won't take long for it to be spread everywhere. But the new 2 are not that hard, just wanted to add a little more buzz.

There has been some complaints about the link thing that i changed. The idea of the link, is to get your friends to join/click whatever. Not for people to post to people already signed up, thats not the point of it. It's an incentive to bring other people to the site. But it wont change, you can only click one link per day. I might make it 50 clicks in a week or something... i'll see how it plays out.

What's next? I think i'm going to work on making the underground better, i don't think people go down there much. It's either battle or train your turns. I want the choice to be battle, train or search. Gives you more of a choice and more in need of a strategy to play the game.

how long untill you change the underground? is it worth holding off on completing that achievement, or is it way in the future?

The changing of the underground will not effect the achievement.

Ah, but you see, some people could be the quiet type of person that has a small hand full of friends, not even 10 :p

Thing about the underground is, currently there's weak items, gold, ore, and lousy NPCs. If the NPCs were stronger (or maybe a series of quests with storyline-NPCs) it would be far more interesting.

I realize that it wont change the quest, however atm its a total waste of turns to go there. i you are changing it so that it might be useful to go there, then it would be wise to wait until the changes to do that achievement, which is whyt I was wondering how long before you were planning on implimenting that.

hx239, It's the first time in the Underground, really since the Plasma ore was removed. Granted it's a waste of turns, or so it seems at the moment. Remember, we don't know what the tasty prize is ^_^ (for finishing the 2nd achievement list).

However, Ash it would be nice to have a counter that shows how many steps you've taken in the underground. Since being in there I think I've spent 250 turns, but I'm not sure.

Reguarding the Underground, currently, as you implied, it's really not worth going down there. I rather use my turns on something else.

I think that you could make it so you can exchange turns. Like take 1 turns (Real Game turn) and trade it for 5 (nonVIP) or 7(VIP) Underground turns.

Currently I waste 3 - 7 turns without coming across anything.

I don't think that the idea of having separate Underground turns (turns that reload at the beginning of the next day) would work, cause it would become something like the outpost.

P.S. - Missing the pet arena :(

will the new underground be levelbound? i mean if u add more things there is it wurthwhile more for highlevels then for lowlevels or is it fair?. if a rank two finds a plasmalaucher for example his stats explode, if i find one i feel i`m screwed out of turns. Maybe an idea to spread things and then mutiple then with level. its only fair to give out 100 times more to a level 100 then to a level 1 Character.

I agree with DP Box, and right now, it´s just a waste of turn, as soon as Ash change the stuffs down there, i´ll be glad go to the undergrownd.
