For SOME reason the name-servers got changed back to their default from when they were bought, not quite sure why this happened, but it seems like every year it needs to be confirmed you still want it pointing here or something. I don't know yet, waiting on a reply. But what happened was when it got changed, around the world it started to cut out RoB and send you to the default IP (which it got changed to), i don't have hosting set up there (because i use them just for domain hosting) and thats why it went to a server not found page. Obviously over here in the UK it didn't update here yet, which is why it's been working here.
But all that is important is that it has been updated. And within the next 24 hours everyone who cannot access will be able to access again (obviously the quicker we sorted it the less people it would cut off)
Sorry for the mess up, it's no-ones fault and everything should be back to normal by tomorrow.
It wont happen again :)
Thanks
Ash

Ooh so that's whats happening! I just thought I was being an idiot.
Glad to hear its not just my computer.
Dont worry too much Ash, Im sure people can cope for a little while. :)
All's well that ends well XD
Thanks for doing what you can and being on top of it. We know its no one's fault, and as was said earlier, people will be ok for a bit.
Thanks, everyone, for your patience. Makes things a lot easier and a lot more relaxed for when we don't have everyone freaking out over it.
Shit happens
yeh u really cant control somthing like tht, i hope noone does get mad bcause it would be their fault of making it into a big deal. its a newer site and all.
And here I thought I messed up my computer! lol
epicly failures
Ash server reset or purge?
Usually it happens when this type of shit hits the fan, human error...
Meh "shit happens" no worries Ash...you did what you do best and got us up and running ;)Thanks!!!
I'm giving them shit, gonna see if i can get any compensation!
Might as well try to get some funding out of them since they temporarily "crashed" the site :D
By the "default IP" Do you mean that the link to RoB got broken? Cause thats what shows up every time I try to get to the site. It works off my phone but not my computer... Well I'll wait and hopefully you can fix it, thank you very much!^-^
I want a cookie for the VIP day I missed Ashy! =P
I still can't get on... :'( This is depressing...
^me too... :(

Everything works for me again :D Thank you Ash, for quick response and good work ;)
Hey Ash! I am still not able to connect. I was trying to get online and it repeats saying "Server Not Found".
Now after an hour and half I just get connected. I think the server is still messed up.
Im from Pakistan and its still not working here.
Ash, as a former employee of your registrar, I can tell you that you likely won't get compensated for the downtime. If you manually renew the domain and let it go past the date once, it can default to ns(something).domaincontrol.com or the like, as they are default, but that would have taken your site down.
It may have defaulted to a secondary set of NS if your primaries weren't resolving. It's an odd, one-off scenario regardless.
Your best bet is to call Customer Development at 480 505 8859 and ask for Joe S. to see if he can get you a price break on domain protection or some other service they offer there. Tell him Will sent ya :)
It didn't go past its date, expires 2010 ;)
