Site status updates
The main midnight reset last night decided to update some stuff and not others. So I ran a manually reset about 6 hours ago. I found out that one of the things that DID reset properly was VIP & VIP+ days, so I've added everyone who is VIP an extra day, the same with VIP+ members. The lottery tickets didn't get reset either (well not all). I'm assuming the server must have gone down at midnight and cut off the reset scripts half way. So if you have still got tickets left over from last week, consider them another free go for this weeks jackpot.
As for now, the coven life bonus has been TURNED OFF. So please do not go posting loads of bug forum threads or submit tickets. I've been working a few hours playing with different formulas but I'm going to have to surrender and say it's more hassle than it's worth. What I'm going to do is refund the relics for you to use on strength and toughness (Which is what most people wanted anyway, i took the easy way out which turned out to be more complicated than I thought). This will happen over the next couple days, I'll blog again when coven owners can re-spend their relics at no cost. So just sit tight and try to survive without the boosts for a couple days.
Coven wars, okay looking good so far. Interesting suggestion made just now about changing the way the *tiers* are worked out. Click here for the thread. Let us know your thoughts.

Hm... well, even though that means about 680 life went poof, as long as we get the relics back to use for more increases in our stats... it works out well. Just means I'll need to add a little more to my life here soon. ;] Keep up the good work Ash, thanks a lot for all you've done recently.

Ash, can we get an update on the Coven War Leaderboards? When someone surrenders, it makes it appear that the other person surrendered, even though it says at the top 'result/winner'. I've had several people mention to me that it seems like we surrendered. I know to the intelligent eye it's simple, but just to clear it up for all the idiots out there, where it says (surrendered) after the winners coven name, could it say (by surrender) or something similar?

But.. What about the limit of one war at a time? It is too difficult to fight two wars at the same time, especially if one coven is only fighting against one coven whist the other has split their attentions between 2. It's almost like a "Freebie" for the other coven!
For Example:
Coven A declares war against Coven C.
Coven B Declares war against Coven A.
Coven A now must split attention between fighting both Coven C and Coven B.
Or Focus on Coven C: and Coven B gets a free "win" since Coven A is not focusing on them, but on the other...
You have to make a strategic decision whether to attack with your war, or defend. Its a good tactical move to attack a coven already in a war. It makes for more in depth tactics.
Not to be a pain in the ass. And i know we get to spend the returned relics free of charge, but what about the extra 20 K each of those life relics cost in the first place?
That has never, to my knowledge, been addressed.

Will there be a time limit to spend these relics or will it be kind of "when ever you want" situation? The reason I ask is because I own several covens. Free relics up the price, so obviously I would leave all returned relics untouched, but I also don't want to risk losing the relics all together.
:S When did the price of relics get outrageous?
The other things are cool, but that coven boost thing will bother me for sure. Never mind, I hope you find a better solution.
