Just the thought of something called "iROB" makes me laugh. But anyway, so over the next few months or so (few being 3 to 12) a RoB iPhone/IPod Touch/iPad app will be developed. I just want to get a feel for how many people would be interested.
FREE - iRoB Lite (Can do some of the basic in game activities from your iDevice)
$0.99(£0.59) -iRoB Full (All basic in game features & access to free promocodes to be used by iROB Full users only).
There could also be an option to buy VIP Days/Plasma right from your iTunes account (Which means iTunes prepaid cards could be another way to get VIP/Plasma). That is just a maybe though. There would also be the possibility of moving into the android market and making an app for the android phones too.
Either comment this blog or discuss it in this forum thread.
Okay onto the next thing, the new servers are up, most of the problems have been ironed out as far as we can see, but if you are getting any errors, or still cannot access RoB please email me @ reignofblood.net@gmail.com.

This is true, But remember. When looking into the future, not all things will turn out good. Lol But i know i spend a lot of time on my Ipod touch, So i would probably get it just to check my BLs. Many people would use it so i guess i'm on either side. so this can go either way. Many people use their Ipods' every day and not everyone gets on the comp so its a good idea

sounds good. even though it's pretty easy to just use safari for rob, not having to scroll around the page or zoom in to be able to click on something would actually be worth it in my eyes. for that price i'd even buy the full version

I would use it. However sadly, with iTunes cards in Canada you cannot purchase Apps. However if the Lite version is good enough, I might consider asking for it VIA Credit Card. It's a good idea.
Complete waste of effort and time. Apple will is being hurt by the iPad and its failures to wow the industry. I would wait until either Apple got its shit together or find another medium to use. Apple and the I-products are not the juggernauts they use to be.

I dont have any of those but I can tell you that its a great idea because not everyone has full time access to computers or dont really use them makes sense to add something new to the table so you can have an even bigger audiance :)
I would use it however stop being so greedy with the money part it should be a free app. For one it would get more people interested in the game and 2 make it so much easier to be able to log on and not have to depend on a browser on the phone. Just wanted to let everyone know that I downloaded BING for the iPhone a free app lol and it works much better for ROB than safari

I don't have an ipod, nor do I plan on getting one. This idea is not for me.
Not so keen on the ipod route, but developing one that could be used on the android phones would definitely spark my interest.

I think its a great idea! :) I don't have one...YET...lol. So the fact that in 12 months possibly it coming, I could very well have one myself, and would gladly love to be able to check on things when I am out and about. Especially when you are sitting and waiting somewhere:P

I've had a smart phone, G1 to be exact, since october and have been successfully accessing the site without hitch or problem. I don't understand what others are saying, but I doubt there would be any difference. Only things I can't access is the wix, xats, and music players on profiles. Chat works fine, battling, training, etc. all work just fine. So, unless that changes, I feel that there is no need...though I guess it'd be cool to have an app. I would just hate for you to waste money without a justifiable means.

I love the idea. I can't buy plasma/VIP, but I buy iTunes giftcards now and then. So I would definitely try that out!

Sound like a good idea Ash, a lot of web sites have their own apps on phone. So why not a game site.. Now with some phone companies, who has html on them.. they can already gain access to the web site. So i am not quite sure what your trying to do.. i will have to hear more about before i give my thoughts about it..

it's a good idea i log on from my smart phone at times but others that can't would really be happy.
I most definately would use it on my ipod. Especially the buying VIP using my itunes account. Being 17 without a credit card is hard. Makes it hard to get VIP and Plasma. Itunes cards are easy for me to get though. I would definately use the app when I get my new itouch.

having experienced the iphone game app from zynga,unless the app can actually interact with other players the same way as with the original game......i'd say no... epic fail.

If I had an iPhone or iTouch this would be helpful for when I'm traveling and have no access to a comp for a good month or two. I really like the idea of being able to use iTunes to buy things. I think this would benefit current players a lot and help to advertise the game to others.

I dont know. How many ROB users would buy it. Would it justify the cost? How many users have an iphone or touch. It is a good idea for on the go ppl but it could end up costing you more money then it would justify to do it. I can pull up ROB on my Treo straight from the internet.

Sorry, I see no use for it, since I adamantly refuse to make Apple and Steve Jobs more money...not for the prices they charge for less then stellar products/services. (Long story, ut they refused to stand behind a product that was defective.) But good luck on the project and to any who would use it.
Even though it's not 100% perfect Safari is the only mobile browser that I've come across yet, that everything on RoB actually works... albeit in some cases it's a bit kludgy. So if an app is developed, it would have to be substantially better than the performance I already get from RoB on the browser I have on my ipod touch for free. Although I have to say, even if it was a lot better, I doubt I'd actually pay for it... even if it is only a buck. Now something for the blackberry... which I use in many more places than my ipod might catch my attention.
